A Smarter Home Starts Here: Google x The Home Depot
Google partnered with The Home Depot to launch its new Gemini-connected Nest products through a full-funnel, omnichannel campaign. The goal was to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion among Home Depot shoppers by positioning Google Nest as the premium, intuitive choice for smart home technology—all powered by the new Gemini AI.
At the heart of the campaign, Google’s brand took center stage while The Home Depot served as the trusted retail partner bringing the smart home story to life. The creative integrated Google products seamlessly into real home settings, showcasing the app experience and highlighting the convenience and connectivity of the Nest ecosystem—all while reinforcing The Home Depot as the destination for smart home solutions.
Designed to feel authentic and approachable, the campaign showed how Google delivers the simplest, most connected smart home experience—an effortless path to comfort, security, and peace of mind available at The Home Depot. Even the in-store scenes were filmed at live inline displays to maintain authenticity and avoid artificial setups.
Spanning CTV, social, digital audio, display, and rich media, the 100+ deliverables brought Google’s technology to life within The Home Depot’s trusted ecosystem—proving that a smarter, safer home truly starts at The Home Depot.
